Who You Are
You are an experienced Advanced Practitioner in Social Care, specifically within the Permanence Team, with at least three years of permanent statutory social work experience. You excel in working with Children in Care and Children Looked After. You possess excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people. You have a comprehensive understanding of Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation and processes. You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle, and you are ready to be part of a collaborative team in Liverpool.
What the Job Involves
The role involves engaging with children and young people, creating detailed care and placement plans, and ensuring stable placements that meet individual needs. You are required to work methodically to minimize risks and improve long-term outcomes. You will work in the Liverpool Children's Services, with a team committed to practice improvement. The position requires three days on-site work in Liverpool each week, with two days of homeworking.
Skills
- 3+ years of statutory social work experience

Pay Rate: £40 per hour (umbrella/ltd status)
