Who You Are

You are a qualified solicitor or barrister with at least three years of post-qualification experience. You possess the ability to handle complex possession, Judicial Review, or injunction work, and you are ideally willing to undertake advocacy in the County Court. You are committed to providing high-quality, efficient professional services and are passionate about supporting clients and contributing to effective legal service management.

What the Job Involves

As a Litigation Lawyer with the Waltham Forest Legal Services, you will join our Litigation and Public Law Team, covering the duties of a colleague on maternity leave. Your role will include managing a challenging caseload, providing legal advice, drafting documents, conducting litigation, and undertaking advocacy. You will work under the guidance of Senior Lawyers and support from legal officers and paralegals. The role involves contributing to effective operational management of the Legal Services team, and providing services in complex possession, homelessness, anti-social behaviour, and other injunction work.
