What the Job Involves
Your role will encompass providing technical oversight and performing quality assurance checks across domestic gas servicing, repair, and heating replacement programs. You will be responsible for auditing and inspecting gas repair and installation works within the housing portfolio, which includes capital project works, new builds, and regeneration schemes. You will also provide technical advice on domestic gas boiler services, hot water, and heating systems. Further responsibilities include acting as Contract Administrator for small projects and reviewing operations and maintenance information to ensure compliance with suitable maintenance and testing programs. The position requires the use of your own vehicle for borough inspections, with mileage costs covered for this purpose.
