What the Job Involves
As a Part-Time Cleaner in the Children and Families Department, you will be responsible for providing a top-notch cleaning service in designated establishments. Your main duties will include:
- Cleaning common rooms, including classrooms and dining/kitchen areas.
- Ensuring toilets and changing rooms are maintained to a high standard.
- Handling the laundry of towels.
- Maintaining high hygiene standards, particularly floor surfaces as guided by the Authority.
- Keeping the exterior hard-surface areas clean and tidy, which includes emptying bins.
- Reporting maintenance issues.
You are also accountable for personal health and safety, ensuring adherence to provided documentation and working efficiently with high levels of customer care.
