Who You Are

You are a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment. You have a keen eye for accuracy and numeracy, and you thrive under pressure while meeting deadlines. Your excellent administrative clerical skills are complemented by a methodical approach to tasks, and you are adept at using common Microsoft Office packages. You are also willing to comply with organizational policies, including a no-smoking policy on premises or vehicles used for business.

What the Job Involves

As a member of the Purchase to Pay team, you will be responsible for the purchasing of goods and services on behalf of various teams across Nottinghamshire. You will manage the team's inbox and your own worklist, following agreed procedures when raising orders using BMS/SAP. Additionally, you will liaise with requisitioners, vendors, and other departments to resolve queries and provide guidance on processes. Part of your duties will also include chasing the approval of invoices and confirming good receipt for payment.

While the role is busy and fast-paced, training will be provided on all aspects of the role and systems, ensuring you feel supported in a safe learning environment. Your role may evolve to meet the changing needs of the organization, with responsibilities reviewed and amended in consultation with you.
